Our Commitment

The National Network on Environments and Women’s Health (NNEWH) is focused on creating strategies for effective change through an understanding of relevant policy issues related to the health of all women in Canada.

NNEWH is a project-based research centre focused primarily on policy-oriented research relating to the impact of different environments on the health of women. In 2009 NNEWH welcomed under its administration two sister working groups: Women  and  Health Care Reform ( WHCR - http://www.womenandhealthcarereform.ca/) and Women and Health Protection (WHP- http://www.whp-apsf.ca/).

Centres of Excellence for Women’s Health

The National Network on Environments and Women’s Health (NNEWH) is one of four Centres of Excellence for Women’s Health supported by the Bureau of Women’s Health and Gender Analysis (BWHGA), Health Canada. The Centres were established in 1996.
