Our Commitment

The National Network on Environments and Women’s Health (NNEWH) is focused on creating strategies for effective change through an understanding of relevant policy issues related to the health of all women in Canada.

NNEWH is a project-based research centre focused primarily on policy-oriented research relating to the impact of different environments on the health of women.

Centres of Excellence for Women’s Health

The National Network on Environments and Women’s Health (NNEWH) was one of four Centres of Excellence for Women’s Health supported by the Women's Health Contribution Program, Health Canada. The Centres were established in 1996 and federal funding ended in 2013.
